ABOUT

HelioFidem leverages combined 50+ years experience in both solar technologies and other products

With professionals in different fields and countries to provide project development related services to the renewable energy sector. We aim to develop projects starting with solar energy and gradually integrating with other renewable energies (e.g., wind, biomass, green hydrogen, etc.) and storage applications. We are also dedicated to exploring the carbon credit business. Our key members have engaged for over 1GW solar projects worldwide. Projects were either constructed and under operation or are in process of constructing/developing. Project footprints cover territories such as the USA, UK, Ireland, Japan, Middle East, Caribbean and Latin America. We have built up our core competencies in development and financing for global solar system projects. HelioFidem has fulfilled the two-phase fundraising target which is evenly distributed into USA and UK entities. For this current stage, we will focus on projects developed in USA, UK, Ireland and certain developed European countries.

Current Project Summary

HelioFidem’s solar project development business has grown substantially in USA and UK. We have developed or co-developed solar and BESS projects of significant capacity in these two countries.

Project Pipeline and Financial Arrangement

HelioFidem has successfully completed two phases funding raising in 2022. Current shareholders are mixed with solar professional, family and friends.

Has been successfully obtained support from Cathay Bank by offering LoC to finance US projects. The credit line has been increased to $5M based on later development of project pipeline.

This year HelioFidem UK has secured fund support at £ 1.9M as project finance from First Commercial Bank London.

Key members of HelioFidem have established a long-term partnership with strategic partners for co-development and EPC related services tracking back from 2009. Based on mutual trust and long-term partnership, HelioFidem has continually partnered with those partners to co-develop, construct and operate solar projects.

Due to the rapid growth of our and strategic partners’ renewable energy business, additional JV with financial sponsors and/or project final operators to support our growth becomes necessary. We are looking for joint venture with long term partners:

To 1) expedite the development of renewable energy projects, including but not limited to solar w/ or w/o storage, BESS alone, green hydrogen generation etc and to 2) engage with renewable energy project ownership and operation.

Core Value & Strengths

An experienced team of key members, stationed in the USA, UK and Taiwan, covering all necessary functions including project development, management, legal, finance and accounting. Veterans in solar system market who have developed and are continually developing over 1GW of projects.

Project development - familiar with the local market and related regulation. UK, Ireland and every state in USA may have a different incentive program, tax regulations and specific requirements which requires strong binding partnerships with local development partners to realize project development milestones. Great connection with all renewable energy technology providers to enable the integration of different tier-1 technologies (BESS, hydrogen, wind turbine…) .

Project finance - debt finance, sponsor equity, tax equity, etc. HelioFidem has developed close partnership with Tax Equity Partners, which is an essential for USA project owners without tax appetite, especially under the current Biden’s IRA 2022. Project engineering design, permitting, EPC and O&M management. SREC and Carbon Credit certification management and trade.
